Managing Director, UK investments

Pieter joined LMS Capital in November 2006 and leads the group’s UK investment activities. Pieter has over fifteen years’ investment experience in MBOs and development capital in the UK and across Europe. He has been involved in deals in a broad range of sectors including media, consumer, business services and industrial. As well as Apax Partners, Pieter has previously worked for JP Morgan Partners, Botts & Company and Bain and has also had operational experience as chairman of Germany’s second largest chain of fitness clubs. Prior investments include Vue Cinemas, Xerium SA, Nordsee GmbH, Infox GmbH, Vestolit AG, Wendeln AG, Kamps AG, Episode 1 Partners and Best People Limited.

Since joining LMS Capital, Pieter has joined the boards of Updata Infrastructure Holdings Ltd, Apogee Group Ltd, Entuity Ltd, 365iT plc, Kizoom Ltd, and ITS Engineered Systems Inc.

Pieter is a Dutch national and is fluent in French and German. He was educated in The Netherlands and at HEC Paris.
