Mr. Verey is an independent Non-executive Director of the Company, having been appointed to the Board on 7 September 2009. He is currently a non-executive director of Daily Mail & General Trust plc and of Sofina SA, as well as being a member of the international advisory board of The Blackstone Group and a member of the supervisory board of Bank Gutmann. Mr. Verey was formerly chairman of Lazard Brothers in London and chairman of The Blackstone Group UK.
